Forget Me Not

Against the backdrop of Mumbai’s glittering skyline, reputed businessman Ipsit Nair’s (Ali Fazal) glamourous life takes a preposterous toll with the arrival of his former sweetheart. Ipsit’s genius computer-like memory has helped him wade through to the tip of the corporate pyramid as a Managing Partner in a big firm.

However, his cocky and self-obsessive nature has wounded the sentiments of those around him only to spawn more enemies. Ipsit can feel his life falling apart as he finds himself tangling in a web of paranoia, gradually losing his mind and defeating himself at his inborn talent.

Bahrupiya (Impersonator)

With some spine-chilling scenes, the psycho drama set on the streets of Kolkata flashes the underrated makeup artist, Indrashish (Kay Kay Menon). His hopeless life is rather illuminated once he inherits his grandma’s Bible on prosthetics.

Heartbreak and betrayal take Indrashish on a path of lunacy that brings him towards self-destruction. He uses his impersonating tricks to pick a bone with his ill-wishers that eventually ends with a jaw dropping cliff-hanger.

As always, Menon single-handedly manages to startle his audience with his stunning performance.

Hungama Hai Kyon Barpa (Why the Fuss)

The adaptation of Barin Bhowmik’s Ailment is playfully summed in the train journey of popular Ghazal singer Musafir Ali (Manoj Bajpayee) and a former wrestler Aslam Baig (Gajraj Rao). Along with their compartment, the two passengers have a shared connection with the precious Khushbhakt.

Fluctuating between the past and present, the strangers discover their previous encounter and find a cure for their kleptomaniac tendency or at least the consequential guilt trip. The subtle humour lingering in the atmosphere will keep you engaged through the entirety of the story.

Spotlight

While on a film set in a resort, the flashy life of the very hip superstar Vik (Harshvardhan Kapoor) is easily over-shadowed by the mysterious influencer turned cult guru Didi (Radhika Madan). During this battle with religion, Vik is baffled when surrounded by the frenzy of her devotees.

By belittling Didi, he begins failing at his career and even his love life. Upon losing his juju to the blindly followed godwoman, he decides to pick his bruised ego and mend his crumbling stardom. The modern day Didi’s escape to Oregon is a witty hint at Bhagwan Osho’s scandalous city of Rajneeshpuram.
