Inspiring Indian Women (IIW) organised the 2025 edition of She Inspires Awards in the Houses of Parliament in London recently, continuing its tradition of celebrating unsung women making a mark in their respective fields.
“Naari (women) is referred to as Shakti (Strength) and IIW She Inspires Awards celebrate that strength exhibited by women in different roles; something that inspires others to go a step further, to venture into the uncharted, and thereby bringing out the best in their role,” IIW said in a statement.
“We wish to acknowledge those who have worked behind the limelight to bring a big change silently, the women who have transformed lives and impacted those around her,” it added.
IIW, a not-for-profit organisation registered both in India and UK, has been organising IIW She Inspires Awards since 2017. This year, the event on March 24 was hosted by member of Parliament Joy Morrissey – the UK Opposition Deputy Chief Whip and MP for Beaconsfield. Additionally, the IIW She Inspires Dharma Dubey Special Awards on March 25 was hosted by Bob Blackman, MP for Harrow East.
