Just two ingredients, flour and water, and hey presto we have the best bread on the planet. Also known as roti and phulka, Chapatti or Indian flatbreads are eaten daily by millions of people around the world.

The size and thickness can vary from region to region; in Gujarat it is very thin and small while in the north they tend to be slightly thicker. Venture further north and they are double the size! Making Chapattis is one of the easiest and quickest way to make bread.
