‘British Indian Good Food Guide’ spices up festive season with its Top 100

As Christmas lights twinkle and festive cheer fills the air, Indian restaurants across the UK are adding their unique flavours to the holiday celebrations. The ‘British Indian Good Food Guide’ has unveiled its list of the Top 100 Best Indian Restaurants in the UK for 2024, showcasing an exciting mix of Michelin-starred establishments and beloved local gems.

With its communal dining, warming spices, and rich traditions, Indian cuisine has become a popular choice for festive dining, serving over 3 million Briton weekly.

Nas Islam, Manager of Raval Indian Brasserie & Bar, expressed enthusiasm for the festive season: "This festive season is shaping up to be our busiest yet. We’re thrilled to welcome diners from across the UK for what we promise will be an unforgettable experience." The restaurant’s award-winning seven-course tasting menu, featuring dishes like ‘Bombay Lobster’ and ‘Mango, Darjeeling Lamb Cutlets’, and ‘Goan Salmon Curry’, promises to delight the senses.

In London, Quilon – a Michelin-starred restaurant – specialises in the coastal flavours of southwest India. Signature dishes like ‘Gressingham Duck Roast’ and ‘Fisherman’s Catch’ have earned it a devoted following. Manager Santanu Mazumder said they are “absolutely delighted to be included in the prestigious guide” and attributed their success to a dedicated team and supportive customers.

Meanwhile, Asha’s in Birmingham, inspired by the legendary Indian singer Asha Bhosle’s culinary journey, offers a stylish ambiance and a festive menu blending traditional Indian flavours with global influences. The restaurant is known for hosting several celebrities like Tom Cruise and Ed Sheeran over the years.
