“I can’t hide this anymore. There are always so many rumours that you can’t always clarify, hence I have decided to introduce everyone to their bhabhi (sister-in-law),” said actor Varun Dhawan in a tongue-in-cheek reference to a track from his upcoming Amazon Prime Video release ‘Coolie No. 1’.

A peppy track released this week from the romantic-comedy is called ‘Teri Bhabhi’, which is sung by Neha Kakkar, Javed-Mohsin and Dev Negi, composed by Javed-Mohsin and lyrics by Danish Sabri.

The foot-tapping number features lead co-stars Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan and gives a glimpse of the chemistry between the entertaining duo in their first film together.

Dhawan added: “Bhabhi is one of my favourite tracks from the album! In fact, there’s an interesting story behind how we discovered this song. It was Badshah who had introduced this song to me. It was very sweet of him. He had come to my house especially to make me hear this particular track.

“When Dad [filmmaker David Dhawan] and I heard the song, we instantly loved it! It fits the David Dhawan School of music perfectly and Javed-Mohsin’s energy and the vibe is infectious! That’s how we found this track! I think they’ve done a fabulous job with it!”

The world premiere of David Dhawan’s 45th film is set to add to the Christmas cheer later this month. Directed by David Dhawan, the film is produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh and Jackky Bhagnani. The film also stars Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Javed Jaffrey and Johnny Lever.

Amazon Prime members across 200 countries and territories can stream the film starting December 25. The film, a throwback of David Dhawan’s 1995 hit starring Govinda, tells the story of a matchmaker, Jai Kishen, who upon being insulted by Rosario, a rich businessman, decides to teach him a lesson by getting his daughter married to Raju, a coolie, who poses as a millionaire. They sense something fishy and Raju's deceptions are discovered. In an attempt to cover it up, he cooks up a story of having a filthy rich twin. One lie leads to another and things start to go awry culminating in a comedy of errors.
