Yo Yo Honey Singh’s track makes waves for Amazon Prime’s Diwali release ‘Chhalaang’

The first peppy track of Amazon Original movie ‘Chhalaang’, composed by Yo Yo Honey Singh, has been making waves across social media.

Soon after the ‘Chhalaang’ trailer was dropped recently, the new song ‘Care Ni Karda’ composed by Singh brings a glimpse into the adorable relationship between the lead pair of the film – Nushrratt Bharuccha and Rajkummar Rao. Penned by Alfaaz, Yo Yo Honey Singh, Hommie Dilliwala, the song is sung by Sweetaj Brar and Yo Yo Honey Singh.

Speaking about ‘Care Ni Karda’, Yo Yo Honey Singh said: “Luv Ranjan understands any song in just one go, he knows which song will work for his film and which won't. When he chooses a particular song for his film, he makes sure to shoot it pretty well.

“The song was written by Alfaaz and sung by a Punjabi vocalist, Sweetaj Brar. Once it was finalised for ‘Chhalaang’, me and Hommie wrote the rap. It is about a boy explaining to his girl that he does care for her while she thinks he does not.

“I am really excited about this one. It is a very sweet song and I am glad Nushrratt is also there in this. After ‘Dil Chori’, we will surely make history again.”

Directed by Hansal Mehta, the film is a Luv Films production, presented by Gulshan Kumar and Bhushan Kumar, produced by Ajay Devgn, Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg.

Lead actress Bharuccha said: “I enjoy exploring unique, exciting roles across films and my character in ‘Chhalaang’ is one that I have never explored before.

“When the film came my way, I was excited to essay this unique character while working with some of the best talent in the industry including Rajkummar Rao, Saurabh Shukla and Satish Kaushik, who are known for their impeccable performances.”

Actor Rajkummar Rao added: “Sports play an essential role in building the character of children while having fun! ‘Chhalaang’ took me back to my school days – looking back I realise how the sports I played in school have shaped me as a person today.

“This is a special film – a true family watch and perfect as a Diwali launch. I look forward to the release of this inspiring film across the globe and hope that this family entertainer brings back joyful childhood memories while sending a powerful message.”

Audiences across 200 countries and territories can stream ‘Chhalaang’ this Diwali from November 13 as a part of the festive line up across Amazon Prime.
