US hails 'important' partnership with India ahead of PM Modi visit

Highlighting the partnership between the US and India, Vedant Patel, Principal Deputy Spokesperson for the US Department of State said that they are looking forward to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to the country.

This state visit will be an immense opportunity to talk about a number of shared priorities," said Vedant Patel, Principal Deputy Spokesperson for the US Department of State. United States Ambassador to India, Eric Garcetti, on May 11, said that New Delhi's partnership is the key to a free and prosperous Indo-Pacific and beyond.
After President Droupadi Murmu accepted the credentials, Garcetti, in a video message said, "The world's oldest and largest democracies, two nations that believe in our hearts about the power of people, have a great chapter to write together in the years ahead.
