Author In Me (AIM) Literary Festival unveiled its 2025 plan, with a major new collaboration with the British Library to present StoryGarden — a vibrant, one-day literary celebration on October 4 spotlighting diverse voices from across the world.
Set against the iconic backdrop of the British Library in London, StoryGarden will be a dynamic convergence of creativity, culture, and connection. From evocative South Asian narratives to fresh global perspectives, the event will showcase the power of storytelling to shape identity, inspire change, and transcend boundaries.
StoryGarden is part of the 6th annual AIM Literary Festival, curated by Author In Me, an award-winning small press committed to championing underrepresented voices. Supported by Arts Council England, this year’s festival theme — ‘Challenge Your Choices’ — invites readers and writers alike to reflect on agency, authorship, and the stories we choose to tell.
Monica Sood, Festival Curator, said: “We’re thrilled to launch StoryGarden in partnership with the British Library — a place where creativity, curiosity, and stories from all walks of life are celebrated.”

Ekta Bajaj, Co-Curator, added: “This is a rallying call to dreamers, disruptors, and changemakers. StoryGarden is where unheard voices will take root and flourish.”
AIM Literary Festival is now accepting submissions from storytellers and publishers across the globe. This year’s festival, running from October 1-5, is especially seeking books by diverse authors, or those set in global or cross-cultural contexts, that align with the 2025 theme.
Select participants will be invited to present their work at the event, with featured titles available through the festival’s partner independent bookshop, South Kensington Books. In line with our mission to amplify underrepresented voices, submissions are free for UK-based publishers.
