Being touted as Ranbir Kapoor's biggest-ever release in international markets, especially the US, ‘Animal’ has been making waves worldwide ahead of its cinematic release on December 1.
The film has bagged more than 888 screens in North America, bigger than other Bollywood blockbusters like ‘Jawan’ and Ranbir Kapoor’s last box-office hit ‘Brahmastra’ – with the former released on 850 screens and the latter on 810. The filmmakers have therefore declared ‘Animal’ as the first Hindi film ever to get such a wide release.
In the lead up to this, New Yorkers and tourists were in for a treat recently when the film’s promos took over Times Square, organised by T-Series, Cine1 Studios and Bhadrakali Pictures. The teaser for the highly anticipated Sandeep Reddy Vanga movie headlined by Ranbir Kapoor lit up the dazzling digital billboards of the cultural hub that never sleeps. The teaser, a tantalising glimpse into a world of ‘Animal’, left onlookers in awe as the teaser roared on the screen and set the concrete jungle abuzz with excitement.
As has been the recent norm, ‘Animal’ will release in four languages besides Hindi – Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.

Meanwhile, the music from the film has also been dominating the airwaves. The unmissable soulful song Hua Main packs a romantic and emotional layer, while Satranga focuses on the relationship between husband and wife.
During a recent music concert while Arijit treated the fans with the live version of Satranga, the unexpected sight of Ranbir Kapoor joining him set the stage on fire. Witnessing the duo together in one frame had the crowd cheering for more.
