Bollywood star is play host to a mega Josh concert this weekend, aimed at bringing together people from across India to voice their gratitude to the individuals who helped them through the .
Josh, a made-in-India, short-video app launched in September 2020 by VerSe Innovation, has partnered up with non-profit coalition ACT Grants, created by the Indian start-up ecosystem to fight the pandemic and drive change. ACT Grants’ weeklong Breath of Life campaign will culminate in the “Josh ACT Concert” on July 17, a first of a kind event by an Indian short-video platform to advance social impact through popular culture and the power of the internet.
Celebrating the spirit of the people of India, the campaign will kick off with the launch of the “Gratitude Anthem” composed by Amit Trivedi and performed by 11 artists including Bhoomi Trivedi, Nikhita Gandhi, Shilpa Rao, Mohammed Irfan and Benny Dayal. Josh has also partnered with BIG 92.7 FM to run this anthem on the FM network.
The concert will be a three-hour celebration of performances by artists like Amit Trivedi, Vishal Dadlani, Sukhwinder, Raftaar, Papon and Shahid Mallya. Famous Italian opera tenor and multi-instrumentalist Andrea Bocelli and his son Matteo Bocelli are also part of the line-up.

The campaign is an opportunity for people across the country to come together and share in the gratitude, with simple #MeraShukriya (my thank you) and #IThankYou hashtags accompanying their stories.
The best messages will also be showcased during the Josh ACT Concert, which will be broadcast on Cafe and stream on the Dailyhunt and Josh apps and on all social media handles of Josh and ACT Grants, 1700 IST onwards on July 17.
