Popular Indian film actor Kichcha Sudeepa's ‘Vikrant Rona’ has an August 19 cinematic release date.
The actor, also referred to as Sudeep, marked the celebrations on completing 25 years in cinema with the title logo reveal and a 180-second sneak-peek of the and both were superimposed on the world's tallest building, Burj Khalifa, in Dubai.
The actor, referred to as the reigning king of the Kannada film industry, wanted to make a positive statement around the experience of watching films in the cinema once again against the backdrop of the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown, with the announcement of the release date of his much-awaited film. The multilingual will release in 14 languages and across 55 countries and has been dubbed among the most anticipated films to hit the big screen in 2021.
Producer Jack Manjunath said: “We endeavour to present the world's new hero, ‘Vikrant Rona’, to the audience in the language of their preference. The film is a visual wonder and considering the pandemic, we feel the audience deserves to watch a of such magnitude in theatres.

Director Anup Bhandari said: "Excited about the release announcement, the post-production work is going on full swing.

Adding to the big news, the team of ‘Vikrant Rona’ has confirmed that the film will also have a 3D release.
The film is produced by Jack and Shalini Manjunath, co-produced by Alankar Pandian, music is by B. Ajaneesh Loknath, and set designs by William David and Shivkumar of the KGF fame. Besides Kichcha Sudeepa, ‘Vikrant Rona’ stars Nirup Bhandari and Neetha Ashok.
