Reminiscing about a memorable surfboarding experience from the past, evergreen Bollywood actor Madhuri Dixit Nene penned her quarantine thoughts and advised her fans to create unique experiences amid the coronavirus-induced lockdown.

"Take me back. Experiences shape us into who we become. Let's use this time in lockdown to create unique experiences for ourselves and our loved ones," the actor most recently seen in the film 'Kalank' captioned surfing pictures she posted on social media.

In the pictures accompanying the post, the first picture shows the 'Devdas' actor smiling as she holds her surfboard amid sea waves. Another image captures Dixit floating along with the surfboard as she smiles, clearly enjoying her time on the seashore.

Using the post documenting her surfing experience, the 53-year-old actor reflects upon the importance of creating memorable life experiences.

She writes: "Learn a new skill, solve puzzles, cook a meal... Once the world opens up remember to always choose #ExperiencesOverThings."

Her celebrity followers, including fellow actor Dia Mirza, were among those who liked the post that garnered more than 75,000 likes within just 44 minutes of being posted.

The award-winning 'Dil To Pagal Hai' star has been keeping her fans updated on her Covid-19 lockdown activities by posting pictures and videos on the social media platforms.

She has been sharing several throwback pictures alongside some quarantine thoughts around the importance of positivity through this crisis.

Sharing one such post, Madhuri wrote: "Laakar thodi si khushi apne chehre par, humne khud ko dusro se alag bana lia. Log dhundhte rahe muskurane ka karan, humne dusro ki khushi ko aapna bana lia?(By bringing a little happiness on our face, we made ourselves different from others. People kept looking for reasons to smile, we made others' happiness our own)."
Dixit's fans instantly flooded her post with reactions such as "beautiful", "stunning" and "always evergreen".
The actor recently also turned singer with the release of her first single titled 'Candle'.
