Priyanka Chopra Jonas all set for release of first book ‘Unfinished’

Expressing her excitement at the official launch of her first book as an author next month, actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas shared an update with her fans on social media this week to confirm her much-awaited memoir's release.

The international actress, who has Bollywood successes such as 'Fashion' and Hollywood successes such as the series ‘Quantico’ under her belt, said: "That feeling when I'm holding my book in my hands for the first time... just kidding, I only received the jacket so I wrapped it around a book to see what it would really feel like. I can't wait to get the first printed copy next month! #Unfinished."

The Instagram shot depicts her full of joy wearing a blue blazer, matching with the colour of the cover page of her memoir, which she is holding in her hand.

It was in June 2018 that the star first announced that she would be penning her memoir, and had said: "It gives you an indescribable sense of accomplishment when you tick off something from your bucket list."

The book 'Unfinished' traces the collection of personal essays, stories and observations by Priyanka Chopra Jonas as an actor, producer, singer and UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador.
She is recognised the world over as a multifaceted personality with her forays into arenas beyond the entertainment industry.

The book, available for pre-order, tells the remarkable life story rooted in different worlds – her childhood in India; her formative teenage years in the United States; and her return to India, where against all odds as a newcomer to the pageant world, she won the national and international beauty competitions that launched her global acting career.

“Whether reflecting on her nomadic early years or the challenges she has faced as she has doggedly pursued her calling, Priyanka shares her challenges and triumphs with warmth and honesty. The result is a book that is philosophical, sassy, inspiring, bold, and rebellious. Just like the author herself,” notes her publisher.
