Dr Jaydeep Joshi is a highly well-qualified Integrative Ayurveda Physician and Counsellor, a leading evidence-based practitioner working in England for over two decades. He has developed a particular specialism in enabling positive change for people experiencing long-term illness, co-morbid complex conditions and extreme distress. He has also led several community programmes across dementia, diabetes and heart condition.
In this exclusive podcast, he reflects on Ayurveda as the oldest healing science. In Sanskrit, Ayurveda means “The Science of Life”. Ayurvedic knowledge originated in India more than 5,000 years ago and is often called the “Mother of All Healing”. It stems from the ancient Vedic culture and was taught for many thousands of years in an oral tradition from accomplished masters to their disciples.
