Personal Trainer and Wellness Coach Lavina Mehta got together with her mother-in-law for this special cross-generational exercise routine for .
While Lavina runs through the easy steps in English, her mother-in-law adeptly not only displays the lower impact version of the exercise but also helps translate Lavina’s instructions into Gujarati.
“My 72-year-old mother-in-law has been a great inspiration throughout lockdown. Her arthritis has resolved and knee pain reduced. She will be supporting me by translating the exercises into Gujarati. Be sure to bring your parents and grandparents along for our workout session,” says Lavina, in reference to this great workout session (video attached).
It was in recognition of these efforts at getting the nation moving through the coronavirus lockdown that Lavina was conferred an MBE in the last month.
