After 13 years, Ajay Devgn returns as Jassi in the much-anticipated ‘Son of Sardaar 2’ bringing back his signature blend of action, fun, and laugh-out-loud madness. The recently released announcement video has significantly raised anticipation, setting the tone for an unrestrained, high-energy Punjabi spectacle.
The video offers a first glimpse at the film’s key characters, opening with a striking silhouette of Ajay Devgn standing against the setting sun. He reprises his role as Jassi, while Mrunal Thakur plays his love interest, Rabia. Ravi Kishan portrays a gangster, seen dramatically firing a shotgun.
Packed with light-hearted moments, the video shows Jassi attempting to douse a fire by splashing water and pointing a rifle in a comedic standoff. A cheeky text flashes across the screen: “He survived Punjab. Can he survive Scotland?”
The teaser concludes with a powerful visual of Jassi in Army fatigues, standing between two tanks — a clear nod to Ajay Devgn’s iconic entry scenes: first, straddling two bikes in ‘Phool Aur Kaante’ (1991), and later, two horses in ‘Son of Sardaar’ (2012).
