Not every homecoming is heartwarming — and some doors are better left unopened. That’s the feeling you are left with after watching ZEE5 Global’s spine chilling, pulse-raising and eerie trailer for its first-ever Marathi horror original series ‘Andhar Maya’.
Directed by National Award-winner Bhimrao Mude, produced by Sharmishtha Raut and Tejas Desai under Ericon Telefilms, story and dialogues by Pralhad Kudtarkar and Screenplay by Kapil Bhopatkar, the series stars the two-time National Award winner and the powerhouse performer Kishor Kadam in a role shrouded in mystery.

Centered on a family drawn back to their ancestral home where the past refuses to rest, ‘Andhar Maya’ sets the stage for a haunting exploration into the hidden horrors of Konkan.

Tucked away in the misty, dark, haunted and the eerie sounds of the Konkan, a once-proud ancestral wada draws the Khatu family back for a final ritual, but the house has its own plans.
