Sony Pictures Films India has unveiled its next project as a gripping collaboration titled 'Dial 100', which is jointly backed by filmmaker Siddharth Malhotra and Sapna Malhotra’s Alchemy Films.

Starring talented and versatile Indian actors Manoj Bajpayee, Neena Gupta and Sakshi Tanwar, the upcoming film is described as a mystery that will keep the audience guessing.

Director Rensil D'Silva said: “I am truly excited and buzzing with energy as we begin our shoot. Directing a film produced by Sony Pictures Films India and Alchemy Films, that offer you flexibility and a wide canvas to experiment with, is daunting, inspiring and fulfilling.

“‘Dial 100’ is a thriller that gets you interested in the plot and makes you question everything. It is a film you would watch again and again just to find a loophole in the mystery."

Sony Pictures Films India is a studio which has a series of successes under its belt, including well-received films such as ‘Piku’, ‘Padman’ and ‘Shakuntala Devi’.

And, filmmaker Siddharth Malhotra has been behind dramas such as ‘We Are Family’ and ‘Hichki’ in the past.

“These two creative forces have joined hands to give viewers a thriller that promises to keep them at the edge of their seats,” said Sony Pictures.

The film went on the floors in Mumbai this week and the stars took to social media to get the buzz going.

“Excited to announce my next thriller drama #Dial100 with my extremely talented and beautiful co-stars @Neenagupta001 and #SakshiTanwar, directed by @RensilDSilva. The drama and suspense has made me fall in love with it already. Can't wait to begin this journey,” said Bajpayee.

While Bajpayee’s last release was ‘Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari’, Gupta was recently seen in ‘Masaba Masaba’ – her Netflix mockumentaryand her film ‘The Last Color’ is set for a limited release in India on December 11.

Sakshi Tanwar is best known for her roles in popular Indian soaps, such as ‘Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki’ and ‘Bade Achhe Lagte Hain’, and made a mark on the big screen in Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’.
