Makers of the highly anticipated film 'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya' starring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon unveiled the film’s trailer earlier this week generating much excitement among Bollywood fans and movie-goers.
Now, they have dropped the first song of the star-studded film – which will also see yesteryear stars Dharmendra and Dimple Kapadia – and fans are swooning over the dance number, which has been trending on YouTube as well as X.
The song titled Laal Peeli Akhiyaan marks Kapoor's return to the dance floor after nearly a decade and treats fans to the fresh chemistry between Kapoor and Sanon.
The video captures Kapoor and Sanon showcasing some impressive dance moves. Kapoor looks dapper in a black shirt that he pairs with black pants and shades while Sanon rocks a stunning blue saree in true desi (Indian) style. Sung by Romy and Tanishk, with lyrics by Neeraj Rajawat, the song is a perfect blend of rhythm and lyrics. The dance number has been choreographed by Shaik Jani Basha.
The film features an interesting plot which will see Aryan (Kapoor), who is a robot scientist, develop feelings for and eventually marry Sifra (Sanon), a highly intelligent female robot. The unique plot will make the film among a few rare ones in Bollywood exploring robot romances.

Kapoor’s wife Mira Rajput also took to her Instagram account to root for husband Kapoor’s dance floor comeback with a supportive message: "Can't wait!! Aag laga do @kritisanon @shahidkapoor” wrote Rajput on her Instagram story.
Both the stars have had a great run at the cinemas in 2023 and have some exciting projects lined up for this year. Kapoor’s 2023 projects included films like 'Bloody Daddy' and OTT releases like 'Farzi', with the film 'Deva”#' slated to release sometime in 2024. Sanon was most recently seen in 'Ganpath' and 'Adipurush', and will be seen in 'The Crew' and 'Do Patti' later this year.
The film 'Teri Baton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya' is written and directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah. Dinesh Vijan, Jyoti Deshpande, and Laxman Utekar have produced it.
