Fans of Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor were in for a treat in London as a special ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar’ van did the rounds of the streets, playing the film’s trailer and building up a buzz for the movie out in cinemas now.
The romcom marks the first on-screen pairing of Ranbir and Shraddha and also has Dimple Kapadia, Boney Kapoor and comedian Anubhav Singh Bassi in the key roles.
Taking advantage of the Holi weekend release, the film has made some good impact at the box-office with many fans gushing about the new Bollywood romantic pairing.
It is produced by Luv Films' Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg and is presented by T- Series' Gulshan Kumar and Bhushan Kumar. Popular movie critic, trade analyst and influencer Taran Adarsh has given the film a four-star rating on his Twitter handle, declaring it a "winner".

Meanwhile, glimpses from a few of the film's tracks can be caught on Shraddha Kapoor's Instagram account. She has recently posted the romantic track 'Jadui' with the caption: "the union of Jhoothi and Makkaar is #Jaadui". She can be seen in another scintillating number from the film: 'Maine Pi Rakhi Hai'.

The film's music is composed by Pritam, and all lyrics are by Amitabh Bhattacharya. Arijit Singh has given his voice to the sad song 'O Bedardiya'.
On a slightly different note, actor Ayushmann Khurrana unveiled the new teaser of his upcoming comedy film 'Dream Girl 2', with a shoutout to Ranbir's 'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar'. The clip shows Ayushmann dressed up as a woman and also mimicking a female voice, apparently speaking to Ranbir. The hilarious promo has left netizens excited.
Balaji Telefilms' 'Dream Girl 2' is the sequel to the box-office hit 'Dream Girl', released in 2019. Besides Ayushmann, the film stars Ananya Panday, Annu Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Asrani, Manjot Singh and Vijay Raaz.
