There are singers, there are showmen, and then there’s Armaan Malik – the multi-lingual sensation whose soulful voice and infectious stage presence lit up London’s Indigo at The O2 in a concert that was part party, part emotion-fuelled celebration.

Returning to the UK stage after eight long years, the 29-year-old Bollywood heartthrob was met with deafening cheers from a crowd that had clearly missed him. From the moment he stepped into the spotlight, the atmosphere was electric – it only grew louder with every soaring note and strum of his guitar.

The concert was a perfect blend of his evergreen Bollywood hits and newer, global experiments.

“Only core ‘Armaanians’ will know this song…” he teased, before launching into Humnawa, sending loyal fans into a frenzy. There were plenty of screams of “I love you” echoing across the venue, and Malik took it all in his stride – charming, smiling, and pouring tremendous energy into every number.

Stripping things back in parts to just him and his guitar, he created intimate, goosebump-worthy moments. And just when the mood turned mellow, he switched gears with a grin and declared: “The party’s just started!”

What followed was a flurry of crowd-pleasers – Badan Pe Sitare, Gulaabi Aankhein, Tum Jo Mil Gaye Ho, Jahan Mil Gaya – classics reimagined with his own signature flair. The vibe was unmissably upbeat, with fans singing along, dancing in the aisles and capturing every moment on their phones.

After a brief interval, Malik returned with Wajah Tum Ho, setting the tone for a second half that seamlessly blended romance, nostalgia and his international hits. Performing Control – his first English single and a track he was debuting live in London – felt like a milestone moment. From Billboard charts to the Grammy’s Global Spin stage, Malik’s global journey has been nothing short of phenomenal.

The crowd was also treated to Echo, his collaborative track with Eric Nam and KSHMR, and Butta Bomma, the Telugu hit that had fans grooving in sync.

Towards the end of the night, he took everyone on a journey through golden melodies – Ehsaan Tera Hoga Mujh Par, Hothon Se Chhoo Lo Tum, Ghar Se Nikalte Hi, and Ishq Teri Aankhon Mein – songs that tugged at the heartstrings and brought a wave of nostalgia.
