Nehru Centre steps into Spring with new set of Yoga, dance classes

The Nehru Centre, Cultural Wing of the High Commission of India in London, unveiled the Spring schedule of its Yoga, Kathak and Bharatanatyam dance classes for beginners to commence on 22 March and run until 18 May 2025.

The duration of offered Yoga and dance courses are for a period of eight weeks, with classes organised over the weekends. All the courses are offered free of cost to all Yoga and dance enthusiasts.

The total number of seats under each course is fixed between for 50 students only, to be allocated seats on a first come first served basis. The Easter holiday weekend (April 19-20) will mean a gap in these weekend classes.

Yoga for Beginners
Duration: 22 March to 18 May 2025

Days: Every Saturday and Sunday
Age: 18 to 60 years
Number of seats: 50
Time: 8.30 am to 10.00 am 
*Note: Participants bring their own Yoga mats, sheets, towels, tissues etc.

Kathak for Beginners

Duration: 22 March to 18 May 2025

Days: Every Saturday and Sunday

Age: 12 to 35 years

Number of seats: 50

Time: 10.15 am to 11.45 am

Bharatanatyam for Beginners

Duration: 22 January to 18 May 2025

Days: Every Saturday and Sunday

Age: 12 to 35 years

Number of seats: 50
Time: - 12.00 noon to 1.30 pm

All the classes will take place at the Nehru Centre, 8 South Audley Street, London W1K 1HF. Interested candidates can register HERE by 14 March 2025.
