If you're always hungry, struggling with sugar cravings, or constantly feeling tired there's a good chance you're not getting enough protein.
I see this all the time. Many women I work with unknowingly eat too little protein, which leads to:
Weight gain and belly fat
Constant snacking or sugar dips
Low energy and motivation
Hormonal imbalances, especially during menopause
Protein plays a much bigger role than just muscle. It helps you feel satisfied, stabilises blood sugar levels, reduces cravings, supports metabolism, and improves mood and focus.
Here is a simple, delicious way to get more protein (even if you don’t eat meat).
Tofu is one of the best plant-based sources of protein and naturally low in fat. By having this it keeps you full for longer, helps reduce mindless snacking, and supports balanced blood sugar levels (which is key for those managing diabetes or hormonal shifts). It’s also a natural source of phytoestrogens, which may help ease menopause symptoms like hot flushes.
