British Indians Rishi Rich & Veronica Mehta to headline second edition of ‘Filme Shilmy Show’

After a successful debut in September 2023, The Filme Shilmy Show, produced by ReelN Ltd in collaboration with prominent film and entertainment portal Filme Shilmy. The show returns to Rich Mix on 23rd February 2024 with another riveting edition celebrating the conception of the British Asian R&B music scene. Multi-award-winning producer Rishi Rich (‘Gully Boy’), co-founder and director of Break The Noise Records label, joins the on-stage conversation with renowned journalist Anuj Radia. The upcoming episode is supported by ROQ Raw Radio, Professional Asian, Soiree Events 360, Nashtaa Café and SBI Bank UK.

The talk will highlight the development of his musical revolution in breaking the barriers in Britain, and also in India with hit songs for Bollywood films like ‘Hum Tum’, which also celebrates two decades in 2024, as well as scoring for Netflix shows like ‘Bad Boy Billionaires: India’. This year also marks two decades since his iconic collaborations with legendary singers like Juggy D and Jay Sean. In January, Rich also successfully inaugurated his mentorship programme for music management aspirants. He also launched his podcast to chronicle the journeys of artists in the cut-throat competitive creative industry.

The maestro will also be joined by another pioneer Veronica Mehta, who has collaborated with Rich and others in popular songs like Mere Dil Mein from ‘Half Girlfriend’, to discuss her journey as a singer and championing the revolutionary path of the British Asian R&B music scene. Mehta has also joined forces with Cancer Research UK to raise awareness for breast cancer. After taking out time to write and record, audiences around the world eagerly await the songstress’s return to the music field with her first single, in collaboration with Rich titled Gone, which also released in January.
