He is also credited for re-popularising folk musical and dance forms such as Powada and Lavani throughout the Indian state of Maharashtra as well as joining the independence movement by writing and composing patriotic songs with catchy tunes.
The ensemble cast features the likes of ‘Duniyadari’ and ‘Ti Saddhya Kay Karte’ fame Ankush Chaudhari; loved television and film personality Nirmiti Sawant and ‘Katyar Kaljat Ghusli’ and ‘Farzand’ fame Mrunmayee Deshpande. The film also sees the debut of Sana Kedar Shinde – the great grand-daughter of Shahir Sable – who will be playing the lead opposite Chaudhari.
